Google is no doubt a big company of the internet world and it has its dominance. In business everyone wants to compete, and there are certain rules through which you can run your business efficiently and without confronting legal issues. Though there are some illegal means but one should avoid such strategies.
EBay and PayPal are also two major firms of virtual world, eBay is a place where you can buy or sell things, whereas PayPal manage payments for various companies around the world. Google, eBay and PayPal worked together for three years but in 2006 the issue of checkout derails the Google-PayPal relation.
Recently Google has hired two executives, who were working at PayPal and eBay. The names of these two executives are Osama Bedier and Stephanie Tilenius. Osama Bedier worked for nine years at PayPal and his last designation at PayPal was vice president. Stephanie Tilenius worked for eight years at eBay as vice president of e-commerce.
Both the executives are well versed from the weakness and strong points of their previous companies. There were having various trade secrets from PayPal and eBay. These two people shared these trade secrets with Google Inc and with other companies and they both lead the launch of mobile payment systems.
eBay suit said:
“By hiring Bedier, with his trade secret knowledge of PayPal’s plans and understanding of Google’s weaknesses as viewed by the industry leader (PayPal), Google bought the most comprehensive and sophisticated critique of its own problems available.”
PayPal also raised a point in the suit and said that Stephanie Tilenius violated her terms of contract and hired Osama Bedier.
Anyhow Google has not answered any of the queries yet and its spokesman told that after receiving the clear notification; Google will respond.
